Emily Wrede

Choir Director

Emily Wrede was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Kentucky. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University Bloomington.

Emily has been singing in choral ensembles since childhood and has developed a passion for both ensemble and solo performance. She has performed as a soloist in venues around the world, with recent highlights including a leading role in the Jacobs School of Music production of The Tender Land and a performance in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro at the historic Estates Theatre in Prague.
